Private Guiding and Instruction: Rates

If the dates of our regularly scheduled rock courses don't fit your schedule, we're happy to schedule private instruction and/or guided ascents of area classics. We can accommodate either a half or full day, based on the type of guiding or instruction you are looking for. Our private rates are listed below.

Rock Climbing: Durango and the San Juans

Beginner and Intermediate

Half Day: X Rock

• $145 for 1:1

Full Day: X Rock

• $235 for 1:1

Intermediate and Advanced

Half Day: East Animas

• $165 for 1:1

Full Day: East Animas

• $275 for 1:1

Snowdon Peak (13,077 ft.)

Snowdon Peak Ascent (III, 5.4)

• $305 for 1:1 and $105 for each additional person

Rock Climbing: Black Canyon & Indian Creek

Private Instruction:

• $350 for 1:1 and $150 for each addtional person

Tower Climbs:

• $350 for 1:1 and $150 for each addtional person

Included in Cost: Guiding and instruction, transportation to the climbing area (in Durango only), all equipment required for our courses with the exception of rock climbing shoes, which are available to rent. Please consider bringing rain gear and warm clothing. Sun glasses, sun screen and a sun hat are recomended. If you have your own harness and climbing shoes please bring them.

Registration and Cancellation: You will need to fill out our Domestic Registration Form, cancellation policy agreement, and liability waiver, and send it to us with a 50% deposit.
