Backpacking trips are offered from early June through late August.
Cost (Includes D&SNGRR; Train Tickets):
Total Chicago Basin: $695 per person
Chicago Basin Traverse: $995 per person
Weminuche Explorer: $1895 per person
Fixed dates (Custom and private dates are available.):
5 Day Traverse: June 25 - 29; July 10 - 14; July 23 - 27; August 6 - 10; August 20 -24
9 Day Explorer: June 22 - 30; July 5 - 13; July 26- August 3; August 16 - 24
3 Day Total: June 22 - 24; June 25 - 27; July 5 - 7; July 10-12; Junly 23 - 25; July 26 - 28; August 6-8; August 16 - 18; August 20 - 22; .
Included in cost: Guides/trip leaders, all dinner and breakfast meals, group camping and cooking equipment, D&SNGRR; Train Tickets, incredible mountain scenery.
Not included in cost: Hotel costs before, during, or after the trips. 3% land use surcharge. $3 Colorado Outdoor Recreation Search and Rescue card (required) trip cancellation insurance, personal camping equipment, or staff gratuities.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy: A 50% deposit is required for all reservations. The balance will be due on the first day of the course or trip. Cancellation must be made 60 days before first day of trip or course, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited. You can apply your trip deposit or fee toward a future trip or course that takes place within one year for a 10% fee. No credits or refunds for no shows or those leaving early.
