Overview | Huayna Potosi and Illimani | Pequeno Alpamayo and Condoriri
**The Condoriri / Pequeno Alpamayo climbs are spectacular climbs for those looking for a more technical climbing challenge at altitude.**

Intermediate Level Climbing
Day 1 : Arrive in La Paz (11,900 ft.). We organize gear for the expedition and acclimate to the 13,100 ft. elevation of La Paz.
Day 2 : Today is spent in La Paz exploring the colonial sights and preparing for our expedition. It is also an important acclimatization day.
Day 3 : To further our acclimitization, we visit the area of pre-Columbian Tiwanaku one of Bolivia's most important Cultural sites.
Day 4 : We continue on to Copacbana then boat to Isla Del Sol where we explore and see the sites.
Day 5 : We return to La Paz to pack and prepare for the climbing pahse of the trip.
Day 6 : To access the Condoriri Valley, we take a 4WD about 2 hours from La Paz over rough roads and tracks to or just past Lago Tuni. From there, we hike for an hour or two to reach our base camp at 15,200 feet. We spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring the beautiful valley in which we have camped.
Day 7 : Today we do a hike to higher elevations and return to camp to help our acclimitization.
Day 8 : We rise early and climb Pequeno Alpamayo(17,482 ft.) with a steep snow and ice face to the ridge.
Day 9 : Today we rest after our climb.
Day 10 : Today we rise very early and climb Condoriri (18,750 ft.)via steep snow and ice slopes and exposed ridge to the summit.
Day 11 : Today is an extra acclimitization or bad weather day.
Day 12 : Return to La Paz.
Day 13 : Fly home.
Included in cost: An AMGA Certified or Trained Alpine Guide , who also speaks fluent Spanish. All ground transportation, hotels, tents, food while on the mountain, and all group climbing and camping equipment.
Not included in cost: Food and drinks in towns, personal climbing and camping equipment, international airfare, costs of a personal nature, or costs due to illness, injury or changes in itinerary.
Prerequisites: Prospective members need to be in excellent physical condition and have previous mountaineering skills. Though not required, it is recommended that participants have previous high altitude experience. If you you lack basic mountaineering skills we recommend that you take one of our training courses in the San Juan mountains of Colorado.

Registration and Cancellation: You will need to fill out an International Expedition Application, cancellation policy agreement, and liability waiver, and send it to us with a 50% deposit 60 days before the trip date.
